Boston Terrier paper cut out animation
Sorry I haven't updated this blog in months. This is a paper cut out animation I did of our dog Sweet Pea a couple nights ago. It's a short, unplanned mess, but it was fun to make. I'm currently working on another papercut out animation project for fun. It might take a couple weeks to finish (since I'm working on it alone) but I'll post it when I'm finished. It is kind of a tribute to the intro to Merlin Jones.
I've been contemplating what exactly this blog's purpose is, and i think it should be dedicated to the store and to my personal art projects.. so hopefully I'll be writing it a whole lot more.

Comic Con 2008
Raymond, Elan, Matthew, and I are back from comic con 2008! We had a GREAT time and met so many amazingly talented people!! We also have never gotten so many giant oversized bags. I'm wondering if the homeless around town will be toting their wares around in Wonderman/Veronica Mars bags in a few weeks. I was so busy with the booth I didn't really get much time to wander around the convention hall. I did get my 2nd Annual Snoopy for President bag from the Peanuts scavenger hunt though. My goal this year was to get a Gottfriend Bammes book on Animal drawing (which Bud Plant didn't have,) but I got one from Joe Wheathery instead. I'm sure I'm spelling his name wrong. I also spent copius amounts of money on Eric Tan prints (The Incredibles and Wall-E.) I should have gone around and bought sketchbooks, but alas.. I didn't make it very far. Mister Toast had to bring me a painting I'd bought from him to my booth because I wouldn't venture past small press.
Anyway, it took me a couple days, but I have finally started to put things back up on the etsy site. I am rearranging the website... i.e... learning how to use dreamweaver better.. so bear with the "under construction" page. It should be changed, with any luck, soon!!!
Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth! We haven't had a booth at comic con in three years and were so happy to be back. We have already put in our application for next year!
